Spring Tiiimmeee

So the other day I was able to visit a Thomas Kinkade gallery with my friend in Savannah and was reminded of just how awesome this painter is. And on top of just mad skill, he also had a series of paintings done for Disney featuring various characters! They were amazing to say the least...and while this picture featured below is not an example of this, he had quite a few paintings of spring/summer time settings and it just reminded me of how nice such a season can be.
It even made me excited for this summer, so in leau of that, here are some spring/summer inspired paintings I found via net! Enjoy~

Way down yonder --

Its the start of spring! And with that, comes awesome spring/summer celebrations, and we're already planning a great one...camping trip in June! It'll be mostly family, its looking, and maybe a friend or two...even with just family its a group of nine! But it'll be excellent cause most of these people were already planning on being here in FL at that time frame anyway.

So far we got:
Me
Matthew
Brian
Jessica
Adrian
Stefani
Jorel
Wesley

I actually haven't told Wesley yet but I dont think he'd say no? Theres a maybe on Vlad but thats a hopefully.

I'm sorry but this just hurts my heart.

So, I've already had to drop $1400 into my car this past Wednesday just to get it to where I should've been able to drive the car to Savannah this upcoming Thursday, which means I put off things like the air filter and such as they don't really effect the safety and ability of the car to drive. There were a few various other things that I was told would need to be fixed but that they weren't imminent and that I should be able to pay for those check by check from the up coming race events, and that the car was completely able to drive to Savannah and back now.

But then, on Monday, while driving in it for probably the 4th time since I had gotten it back out of the shop, the car started bouncing and shaking and the check engine light came on (yeah no shit). SO! I called the Mercedes place, took it back in, and just found out that apparently a bunch of wires and coils or something have fallen off, down, out, I don't know exactly, but that its going to take roughly $1700 more to fix that.

This will bring my total of fixing that car to roughly $4500.

I looked it up. I can purchase a brand new 2010 model of my car for $45,700.

WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE COME ON!?

This fucker better fly when I get it back after all this, or heads will roll.

Whats the deal with Sea Foam?

So, went down to the beach this morning...blessedly there were far fewer bikes out there than have been for the past few days (Bike Week = total and complete hell for residents here in Daytona Beach) but I noticed a lot of sea foam. Saw a bird get attacked by sea foam as well, which was amusing. Came home and looked up what sea foam is exactly, and it turns out its bits of dead fish, seaweed, basic impurties in the water, and salt all mixed up...
Knew I was wise to avoid it.
Aside from that though, it was a pretty nice day out there,
if not a little cold due to the wind.

Mm...so its been a busy past week working the event but its finally over. Come this thursday i'll be leaving FL and heading up to Savannah to pick up Vlad on friday (Or will I?) then the fun begins!
Maybe i'll get something drawn while up there? I haven't drawn in weeks it feels like!
In art related news though, I did get my sticker book in that I ordered from Moo.com. I'll do a post on that soon. Ah...whats the point of this update? Just to update? I think so.
Ciao!

Yesterday's adventures...

Spent yesterday at grandma and grandpa's house in Palm coast (or at least the evening.) My brothers Brian and Bradley, as well as my Uncle Todd, were out on the dock fishing for a while. Didn't expect to catch anything cause it was pretty cold due to wind chill, but they caught two sting rays and an eel (all of which they threw back.) The sting rays were pretty cool looking, because they'd try to swim but were on land. I felt bad they got caught for nothing though (cause they bit the hook regardless, ya know?) but they did get thrown back out so that was good at least. Totally made me think of Family Outing though man.

Then I was walking back up to house and saw an armadillo run across neighbors yard towards the one I was in, so I ran up over to him and was able to get really close for a picture. He looked all sleepy and stuff. He was pretty cute :3

Then he got really scared though when I stood up to leave and took back off across other yard.

Heres fun thing though...I mentioned to Todd how i'd love to take canoe or something out to the islands on the intercoastal and just spend day looking around (cause there are all sorts of things out there like horse shoe crabs, rays, regular crabs, etc.) and he mentioned how he has a canoe and could easily go out there one day (check the tides) and camp on one of those islands.

me, " DUDE LETS DO IT!" lolz.

Think about how neat that would be? To go out there, spend day just searching small island and then setting up camp there. Man i'd be all over there. Cause you can fish and catch own food and stuff! Todd knows how to prepare all that, I don't, but i'd watch! and learn! I'm all for it man. It'd be sooooo fun! Just got to wait for this weather to warm up a little...

All sorts of things out there though. Todd's seen bob cats even, but I dont think they'd be on the islands we're talking bout since they're in middle of Intercoastal. Lots of horse shoe crabs, fishys, and such though, which will be fun. I can't wait!

(Random Outing adventure, per haps?)

Ah, then on way off island (my grandparents house) I had to stop and let a bunch of deer cross road in front of me, lolz. It was a neat trip.

Because it'd be a hassle to add these in on other one...

So these are all photos taken at Tybee. The ones with the grey wall are over next to the light house. Its actually this little back area of the fort that was just there and really cute so we took some pictures for our project. The one of the bench is just so you what kind of thing I was talking about (because wooden swing bench on beach isn't clear? lolz.)

Savannah, GA

Call this early but...
I'm completely looking forward to Saint Patrick's day in Savannah this year.
While unfortunately Wesley will not be able to come up due to work ( =/ lame!) I will be able to spend not only that day, but the week of St Patrick's with my cousin Stefani, her fiancee (my...cousin in law??) Jorel, his friend, and my friend Vladerad. We're going to be scoping out things for the Delomino wedding, while chilling and enjoying ourselves as well. Last time Vlad was really in Savannah I had miscalculated and still had week of school left, xD, SO! This should be more fun for him as well.
Below i've included several pictures of Savannah...most of which were taken by me, with the exception of the real estate one thats asking for your soul.
Tybee Island
A good spot for RO as well, don't you think?
Docks off of Tree House
Jones Street.

River Street stairway

Oakland Wildlife Refuge
I'd like to go back here again, just this time, with bug spray.

Square in Savannah outside St Johns.

Bonaventure

There is also St John the Baptist that i'd like to insert but I think i'll save that one for when I can find my own pictures of it....its a beautiful church. I really wanted to take Vlad there last time but somehow never got there, so i'm glad he's able to come back down this time cause I KNOW we'll be stopping by there.
